Hearing protection: It’s important but I just can’t be arsed! (Sound similar to attitudes to another type of protection?)
It seems that many of you have a lot of apathy towards taking action to protect your hearing. 68% think it’s essential, the rest of you think it’s sort of important.
The worrying bit is 27% of you just can’t be arsed. That’s why Audio Relief makes it easy, a few minutes on our website and the products will be with you within a couple of days. There really is no excuse!
Over 77% of you have experienced tinnitus noises, 40% of you listen to your MP3 player for more than 15 hours a week (probably too loudly!) and over 86% of you are going out a least once a month, 30% of you more than a few times each month and 5% every night.
We all love our music but it is not a coincidence that long periods exposed to loud noise correlates to increases in tinnitus noises.
